Q3/16 Results Are In ...

Recipient Charity & Final Tally

Congratulations to Food4Kids for being the Recipient Charity! Together, we raised $15,500, which represents over 5% of their annual fundraising! Food4Kids is a registered charity providing healthy food to elementary school kids aged 5-14 years from at-risk, low-income or disadvantaged homes with limited or no food during weekend periods. Packages of healthy food are prepared by volunteers and delivered to schools each Friday to ensure children have nourishment over the weekend. There are 1,500 children in Hamilton and 400 children in Halton struggling through each weekend without food. It was great to come out to meet some of the staff and volunteers, and to learn more about this great organization. We'll be sure to get some of the staff out to our next event to meet all the guys and give us an update.

Thanks to a Great Group of Guys!

Our Q3/16 Event was another phenomenal success! It was great to have Britta Martini-Miles come out and tell us about Lighthouse Program for Grieving Children and how they used our group donation from our last event. HUGE thanks to our event sponsor Denny's Auto Wash for providing us an outstanding evening including great live music by Brendon Gomez, delicious burgers from Just An Olde Fashioned Butchery, cold beer from Cameron's Brewing, and beautiful exotic cars to drool over. Also a special thanks to our volunteers, including Andrew Sue-A-Quan, Mel Hum and Rob Ruso for holding down the registration desk. Feedback & Volunteers Welcome

We welcome your feedback - please email us with any suggestions you may have.

We are always looking for new sponsors, venues and volunteers for future events. Specifically, we are looking for photographers (amateur members are more than welcome!) to cover one of our events and beverage sponsors to pick up the bar tab at one of our upcoming events.

Spread the Word & Stay Connected

Let's keep the momentum going. Please continue to spread the word to your friends, neighbours and colleagues. Our group is not limited to 100 guys or Oakville. We want to focus on Halton based charities and are happy to welcome guys from Burlington, Brampton and Milton. Let's see how big we can get, and how much of an impact we can make in our local communities.

If you are not yet a member and are interested in joining us, please make sure you sign up with all your contact info here so we can add you to our mailing list. You can also follow us on social media for more updates.

Stay tuned for details of our next event ...
