Recipient Charity & Final Tally
Congratulations to Reach Out Centre for Kids (ROCK) for being the Recipient Charity. Together, we raised $18,000 in our Q1/19 event. ROCK is an accredited, multi-service organization providing services to children and youth from birth to 17 years of age and their families. ROCK aims to improve the lives and relationships of families with children who are having social, emotional and behavioural concerns. ROCK functions on a multidisciplinary team basis that may include persons trained in psychology, social work, therapy, occupational therapy, nursing, education, early childhood education, family and individual therapy, and child and youth therapy. Since 2014, ROCK has been designated as the child and youth mental health Lead Agency for Halton. Special thanks to nominating member Matt Donohoe for introducing us to ROCK and the great work they do in Oakville and across Halton.
Thanks to a Great Group of Guys!
Our first event for 2019 was another huge success.

Thanks to a Great Group of Guys
Thanks to all the guys who came out and supported the cause, and for those that couldn't make it but still donated. It was great to hear from Brain Injury Association of Peel Halton (BIAPH), our Q4/18 Recipient Charity, about the work they do and how they will use our group donation from our last event. Special thanks to our Venue Sponsor BUM Contract Furniture (Adam, Steve and Tammy Demaine) for hosting us in their showroom; our Food Sponsors, Sandwich Society(Authentic Tuscan Sandwiches) and Por Vida ( Authentic Mexican Food); and our Beverage Sponsor PMA Canada who brought Gosling's Rum and Ginger Beer to serve Dark & Stormies. Also a special thanks to our dedicated volunteers, including Andrew Sue-A-Quan, Mel Hum and Rob Ruso for holding down the registration desk, and Mo Awan for taking care of the event planning. Spread the Word & Stay Connected
Let's keep the momentum going. Please continue to spread the word to your friends, neighbours and colleagues. Our group is not limited to 100 guys or Oakville. We want to focus on Halton based charities and are happy to welcome guys from Burlington, Brampton and Milton. Let's see how big we can get, and how much of an impact we can make in our local communities. If you are not yet a member and are interested in joining us, please make sure you sign up with all your contact info here so we can add you to our mailing list. You can also follow us on social media for more updates.
