10th Annual Hope in High Heels

This an opportunity for boys and men of all ages to come together and show that WE are part of the solution to end violence against women and children. Register to participate in the annual “Hope in High Heels” walk in Oakville on Sunday September 22, 2019. Demonstrate to the women in your life – and your male peers – that violence against women and children is unacceptable, and help raise awareness that it does indeed happen in Oakville. The shoes WILL fit – whether PINK pumps or PINK running shoes! Proceeds support Halton Women’s Place – operating the only 2 women’s shelters in Halton, and offering legal, counselling and transitional housing services to women and children in need in our community. Please see details here.

100 Teens Who Care Oakville

We are looking for the next generation of philanthropists! Do you know any teens who would like to make a difference in our community while making new friends, gaining community hours and improving their leadership skills? Following the 100 Who Care concept, 100 Teens Who Care Oakville meet 4 times a year, each teen donates $10 at each event, with a goal to provide each Recipient Charity $1,000 in total donations. This group is organized and run by a Teens Advisory Committee and an Adult Executive Committee. They have asked us to help spread the word for their next event on September 19th at Film.ca. Click here for more information about the group.

Spread the Word & Stay Connected

Please continue to spread the word to your friends, neighbours and colleagues. Our group is not limited to 100 guys or just Oakville. We want to focus on Halton-based charities and are happy to welcome guys from Burlington, Milton, Georgetown, Mississauga, and Brampton. Let's see how big we can get, and how much of an impact we can make in our local communities. If you are not yet a member and are interested in joining us, please make sure you sign up with all your contact info here so we can add you to our mailing list. You can also follow us on social media for more updates.

Thanks for your continued support! 100 Guys Who Care Oakville
